This song is about someone named Georgia and it was about Stephen Sanchez’s girlfriend in 2021, Georgia Webster.  It is a song about love and in the dark times, they caught each other.  I think they must’ve had a breakup because he says “I’ll never let you go again, like I did.” It would be hard to break up with a boyfriend or girlfriend because it would be hard to see each other in public after the breakup. I think you just need to keep your relationship private from everyone.

How I made a paper plane

 I made a paper aeroplane with my mum in lockdown today I  watched a video on how to build a plane.

4 things to consider when building a paper plane

For me it was really hard folding because I couldn't get it perfect. I was rushing and the folds didn't meet properly. In the end I finally did it. the first flight was a bit crooked then on the second flight it flew better and went further. I didn't make any changes. I  was happy with it. 

SNA

In sst we are learning about SNA

What is an SNA?
SNA stands for Significant Natural Area
SNA is looking at protection for the native habitat of Forest and Bird

Why are they important?

"Native forests and wetlands took 80 million years to evolve and in 800 years in two waves of human impact, so much was lost."

They have an important role in the environment because significant natural areas have been harmed by pollination and the disperse of seeds. This leads to the loss of habitats for our native animals. That is why it is believed we must protect the SNAs.


Who decides what's significant?

Councils around the country are responsible for identifying SNAs in their territory. Because of that issue around "significant", each council can apply different standards when assessing SNAs.


Why has SNA caused conflict?

Part of the concern about SNAs is that most are on private land, and those who own that land are worried about losing it, or the land itself losing its value and adding complications for owners. This in my opinion is like we are losing our land just like our ancestors did, however, the process is a little different.

On Wednesday the 21st  we did a fundraiser for our Ski camp how match money is $5000.

The cracking day

 

The sun peeped its head over the distant mountains on the horizon.  The cracking of the ice but we are beginning to feel more like a earthquake,   The colour filled as the speed of  light.

ten pin bowling

On Sunday I went to ten pin bowling in Whangarei  with my mum and dad and with my auntie Bronwyn  and Abe and his girls. 

Technology

On Tuesdays we go to Hukerenui for technology I am doing cooking class for 6 week. we make pizza last week and we are going to make pasta this week.

Lego day

Today we are going to play with Lego and we are going to build  a car or home.
What Would  you like build with Lego?  We have large Lego with a lot of colors window Lego I think it will be cool to build a house with a nice front yard. We can build it up as high as a sky scrapper and as wide as a pool with heaps of different colors just like a rainbow.
